This is a custom made wooden box.  It is 8 ½” wide X 4 ¾” deep X 3” high.  It is made from Kola wood.  The box is decorated numerous embellishments made from sterling silver and 14KYG.  There are two sterling silver floral castings mounted on the right and left top surface of the box.  There is a raised knob which is constructed from sterling silver and 14KYG.  It has an 8mm bezel mount Garnet cabochon.  The upper portion of the hinged clasp has an additional sterling silver floral casting.  The lower portion of the hinged clasp has an overlay tab and a hand-made twist knob positioned on the front of the box.  The tab incorporates an overlay pattern and layers of sterling silver and 14KYG.  There are two 3mm round Garnet bezel mount cabochons.
