“DragonFly Love” is a metal collage which is constructed from brass, copper, and nickel. It is a representation of a Dragonfly flitting along bushes pollinating the flowers.
The Dragonfly, pierced overlay nickel on brass, is nestled between two banks of bushes and rests at a copper flower that has interested him. A nickel bird flies overhead watching his every move. The bushes are embossed in brass and textured with the use of oxidation. The sun shines bright in the embossed brass sky.
Size: 4” X 6” metal collage in a 5” X 7” Custom Alder shadowbox frame.

MetalScapes are collages constructed from multiple base metals. Segments are pierced, textured or oxidized in order to vary shapes, textures, and contrasts in a scene. Embossing and stamping may also be incorporated. Some shapes may be domed for a three dimensional effect. All the design segments have been riveted to the metal back plate.
